School Policies

Attendance 

School starts promptly at 8:00 am and dismisses at 3:00 pm. Being on time every day is important for students to do their best. Please help us support your child’s success by making sure they arrive at school on time, every day.  Students may arrive at 7:40 am. 

Absence

If your student will be absent, please contact the office by 7:30 am to inform us of the absence on the school website under “Report an Absence." For excused absences, a reason needs
to be shared (i.e. ill, doctor’s appointment). Be sure to provide documentation of appointments in order for absence to be excused. Please contact Mrs. Popp, School Social Worker, for extended
absences. If your child is sick, do not send them to school.

Cell Phones

To support a focused learning environment, all students are required to secure their phones in a designated pouch upon arrival, which aligns with Ohio’s guidelines to restrict cell phone usage during the school day. Phones must remain in the pouch until dismissal. This policy helps minimize distractions and encourages positive engagement in class.  Thank you for partnering with us to prioritize student learning.

Student Dress Code

Students are welcome to wear red, black or white collared uniform shirts paired with non-denim khaki, black, or plaid uniform shorts, skirts or pants.  All bookbags should be clear.  Click the link for more details.
